Housetraining My New Puppy.?

I just got a 10 week old rottweiler and want to start house training him. Trouble is, i work 3 – 4 days a week. Will he still learn his house training ok if i cant watch him all the time? He would only be alone for 4 hours at the most, until my boyfriend gets home to watch him, and he has his own safe area to play, sleep and eat, and a toilet area as i cant expect him to hold on for so long, but is house training still possible in this situation? Also, how long does it usually take to house train a puppy? (a rough guide obviously)
Only helpful answers please, no criticizing, it doesnt help. Thank you.

    I think he’ll adapt, This may sound strange but Mine has turned into a real gentleman, All you have to do is show him love when it is time, Serve his food with love and be really mad when he does something wrong. Hit him on the nose if needed but a scolding by the mistress is usually most effective.
    I was away for 6 hours and my mother didn’t really train him. My dog seemed to have it inbuilt or he was just really intelligent and Caused us no trouble whatsoever.
    Except when we were out for a very long time (8 hrs)

    This is the best method that works for me:
    Paper training.
    Start the paper inside, anywhere in the house. About twice a day, start moving it towards the door about a foot at the time. Do this gradually until the paper is outside, and Puppy is using the paper outside. Keep the paper outside for about a week. Then remove the paper and just take puppy outside…he’ll get the idea.
    Use fresh paper every time obviously, lol!
    Being alone for 4 hours isn’t bad at his age. Crate training is your friend!!! He’s less likely to soil his crate.

    Make sure he occupied, keep him entertained with lots of toys. Keep a training mat near your main door, dont get him to attached to mats as this becomes obsessive and he will always want the mat. If he is looking to do his buisness put him straight outside.
    Training; on average 4 – 8 weeks

    What you should try is, when you are at work or away just put the puppy in a crate(taxi) and releave him to go to the bathroom when you get back. That teaches him to hold it when he is in the house and releave himself when he is outiside.
