Housetraining A Puppy While Working…?

I have a 10 week old puppy, he is going to be fully vaccinated in 2 weeks time so would like to get him housetrained. I couldnt do it before he was vaccinated as other dogs have been in our garden, and i didnt want my puppy going near their toilet buisness.
He is sort of paper trained, still has a few accidents around the house, but he is getting there. The problem is, i work 3 days a week, random shifts and different lengths of time.I have a full week off work around the time i want to get him housetrained, so im hoping he will learn by then, but im not sure how long it takes. Will he still learn to be housetrained if i can only watch him 4 days a week?
Also, any tips to help me house train would be much appreciated as its my first puppy :) He’s a Rottweiler, if that makes any difference..

    One week to housebreak? Um no way in hell. Six months yes, one week no and it’ll take a week to break him of going on puppy pads. You could have taken him outside to potty at 8 weeks old, why didn’t you pick up the other dogs business? If dogs went in your garden and you didn’t want him going near their business then why didn’t you clean your yard? If you knew these dogs and they were fully vaccinated then you’d have been fine. I suggest you dont’ wait two weeks to begin, there’s no reason why you cannot take him outside now to learn to do his business, pick up the puppy pads and get him out every hour on the hour, use a command word and stay outside until he potties, walk him around and do not let him play, when he potties give him a treat and reward him. Bring inside and keep him confined, set a timer for one hour and take him back outside. Do not let him have free roam of the house as he’ll potty when you aren’t looking and whatever you do do not scold or yell or punish him for having an accident you’ll only reinforce the bad behavior or make him afraid to potty in front of you. Always be positive and patient and consistent and he should be able to “get it” in three weeks but it’ll be months before he’s reliable and one year before he’s 100% housebroken.
